Nano RAY-T just sold its first chemical vapor deposition (CVD) reactor for growing aligned carbon nanotubes to Université de technologie Belfort-Montbéliard in France.
The contract was signed in February and in three months time Nano RAY-T team did assembly and automatization system for CVD reactor. CVD reactor will be used to educate students and researchers about growing aligned carbon nanotubes and using them in applications.
For universities that use aligned carbon nanotubes them often, buying their own reactor makes more sense. It also provides more learning opportunities to research new types nanomaterials and it’s less expensive.
